(04/22/19) The Pennsylvania Game Commission has scheduled a prescribed burn in Berks and Schuylkill Counties on Monday.
The burn is being conducted to maintain the fire dependent oak forests that are found on SGL 106.
Smoke may be highly visible on the Blue Mountain north of I-78 and east of SR 61 near Hamburg between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00 pm. Smoke will also be visible when traveling on Route 895 between Deer Lake and New Ringgold between 10:00am and 6:00pm
