Police Officer Charged with Faking Attack

According to WFMZ, a police officer who claimed she was thrown down an embankment in September has been charged with faking the attack.


According to Magisterial Records, Melissa Ruch, an officer with the West Penn Township Police has been charged by the Pennsylvania State Police with False alarm to an agency of Public Safety, Falsely incriminating another, reporting an offense that did not occur for the event that took place along Route 309 in West Penn Township on September 2nd..
