An arrest warrant was issued for Martofel's arrest after he failed to respond to charges filed by Borough Police.
Martofel was picked up by Pottsville City Police and transferred into the custody of Borough officers. Martofel was taken to the Schuylkill County Prison where he was arraigned by on call Magisterial District Judge Bayer, unable to post bail and was committed to the prison.
Martofel will now have to answer to drug paraphernalia charges before MDJ Hale, Frackville.
