Nancy J. Brennan, 90, of Pottsville passed away Thursday, December, 10, 2015 at Schuylkill Medical Center- South Jackson.

Born in Harrisburg, November 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Flora M. (Miller) Kline.

Nancy graduated from Reading Area High School in 1943, then moved to Pottsville in 1944. Nancy went to work as a secretary for the PP&L where she met and married her husband of 61 years, Norman F. Brennan. Norm passed away June, 27, 2008.

She later worked in the millinery department of Pomeroys Department Store and last worked as a teller at Pennsylvania National Bank both in downtown Pottsville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Audrey J. Kline, Saginaw, Michigan; grandson, Ian C. Brennan; and two infant daughters one at birth and one at seven weeks, Kerry L. Brennan

Nancy leaves behind two daughters, Deborah A. widow of Robert Daniel W. Berlin, NJ; Erin wife of Michael W. Lesher, Bernville; son, Patrick F. Brennan and wife Leslie, Perkiomenville; one step son, Michael G. and wife Jetta of Blue Ridge, GA; five grandsons, three granddaughters, three step granddaughters, thirteen great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother C. Frederick Kline, nieces and nephews all of Saginaw, Michigan.

Funeral services will be private and entrusted to Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment will be held at a later date at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Annville.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pottsville Free Public Library, 215 W. Market St. Pottsville.

Edward P. " Buki " Lycoff, 91, Frackville, passed away peacefully Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Born in Frackville he was a son of the late Alex and Margaret Lycoff. He had been employed as a liquor salesman for Hiram Walker for several years until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Frackville.

Buki was a WW II veteran of the US Army having served in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was a member of Frackville American Legion Post # 398, life member of Frackville Elks Lodge # 1533 and a member of Frackville Area Senior Citizens.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Anne ( Budnavage ) Lycoff in May 2015 and a brother William Lycoff.

The last member of his immediate family he is survived by his niece and caregiver Linda Najda, Gilberton and by several additional nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor , as the celebrant. Interment, with full military honors, will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.

Elva L (Evans) Weicker, age 96, of Dayson Dr., Schuylkill Haven, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at home.

She was the widow of Edmond D. Weicker.

Elva was a member of Zion's Church of Lewistown Valley where she was active in Sunday School and was a member of the Church Owl Group.

She graduated from Blythe Township High School and she was a homemaker.

Born in Middleport on June 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Evans and the late Mabel (Bush) Evans.

She is survived by her

Gail A. Sacks wife of Ronald C. of Schuylkill Haven;

Brother,
R Russel Evans of Tamaqua;

Grandson,
Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dale T. Weicker; brother, Elmer "Buster" Evans; sister, Mae Yuscyk.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,

Graveside Service will be at Sky View Memorial Park 108 Lafayette Ave., Tamaqua, PA at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 21, 2015.

Memorials in her honor may be sent to Zion's Church of Lewistown Valley/ Christian Pre-School 489 Valley Rd., Tamaqua, PA 18252.

Gloria W. Ridge, 72 of Pottsville, died Tuesday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

She was born January 25, 1943 daughter of the late Frank and Gladys Steiner Wenner.

She was a 1960 graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1991 graduate of Mundelein College, Chicago, Ill.

She worked for various banks and was most recently employed at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St. as a switchboard operator.

Gloria was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Throughout her life Gloria enjoyed traveling vacationing at the beach and loved to read.

Surviving are a son Jeff Ridge, Pottsville; 2 daughters, Catherine Ridge Rosenberger, Wyomissing; and Connie Ridge Hair, Pottsville: 5 grandchildren, Lauren Rubright, Pottsville; Dylan and Wesley Rosenberger, Wyomissing; Nick and Danny Hair, Pottsville: 1 great-grandchild Justin Rubright; and her cat Molly.

Service of Remembrance will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 5:00P.M. until the time of services. Interment will be private at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Hillside SPCA P.O. Box 233 Pottsville PA, 17901.

Rudy J Cipko, age 60, of Pottsville, formerly of Tamaqua died Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Manorcare in Pottsville.

He was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Tamaqua.

Rudy enjoyed music, sports, cooking, playing keyboard and he liked to juggle.

Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Rudolph B. Cipko and the late Anna M. (Ciorlanti) Cipko.

He is survived by his

David B Cipko and his wife Marion of Tamaqua;

Sisters,
Geraldine Cipko who resides with her son Thomas and his wife Linda of Lemoyne, PA
Jeanette Gimbor of Allentown;

Many Nieces and Nephews.
