Anne “Marie” Dalinsky, formerly of Frackville, passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 7th, 2015 while residing at the Sandpiper Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
A lifelong resident of Frackville, Ann Marie was the daughter of Thomas and Anna Navitsky. Ann Marie was married to John R Dalinsky, Captain, Pennsylvania State Police (retired) who preceded her in death. She is the former Manager of S and M outlets of Frackville.
She leaves behind two sons; John R. Dalinsky III and his wife Jeannie, the former Jean Anne Laudeman of Shenandoah who currently reside in Walkersville, MD., Thomas Dalinsky residing in Charleston, SC. One Grand Daughter, Jaclyn Dalinsky Kagan and grandson in law Oliver Kagan, currently residing in Manhattan, New York.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday December 17 from Annunciation BVM Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in Marie’s name, to the Frackville Free Public Library, 56 N. Lehigh Avenue, Frackville, PA 17931.

George M. Tassone, age 77, of Pottsville, PA passed away Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at Rosewood Nursing Home in Schuykill Haven.
Born in Pottsville, PA on May 25, 1938, he was the son of the late George and Amelia (Genevese) Tassone.
George served in the U.S. Air Force as a Airman Third Class from September 1955 to June 1958. He worked as a repairman and operator for the Reading Anthracite Company for 26 years until retiring in 2000.
George was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville, a Lifetime member of the West End Fire Company in Pottsville, and a member of the Pottsville AMVETS.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Stephanie Tassone.
George is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bridget (Mason) Tassone, Palo Alto; 3 sons: George Tassone Jr. and his wife Linda, Pottsville, John Tassone and his wife Mary, Lake Wynonah, and Louis Tassone and his companion Jody Mataka, Pottsville; a daughter Inez Dombrowski and her husband James, Pottsville; 7 grandchildren: Kali Ann, Jonathan, Dominque, Brianna, Jason, Ashley and her husband Adam, and Hunter; brother Louis Tassone, Minersville; sister Carmela Brilla, Pottsville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 8PM on Tuesday December 15th.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be held private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 101 Frack Street Frackville, PA 17931.

Gerald F. Dalton, 74 of Pottsville, died Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St.
He was born January 5, 1941 in Danville son of the late Thomas and Hazel Blee Dalton.
He was a graduate of Danville High School and Bloomsburg University.
He was employed by Minersville Area School District prior to retiring.
Gerry was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville where he was a Eucharistic Minister and the two hearts rosary group.
Surviving are his wife Corinne Mott Dalton; children, Jeanette, Michael and his wife Lori Ann, East Stroudsburg; Kenneth and his wife Rachael, Mohrsville; Laurette Vanovsdale and her husband Jason, Fargo ND: a brother, Robert, Wellsboro; 4 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass. Nancy M. Rees, 87 of Orwigsburg, died Saturday at Seton Manor Orwigsburg.
She was born February 16, 1928 in Pottsville daughter of the late Joseph P. and Anna Paul O’Connor.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.
Nancy was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, Ivyside Swim Club, Pottsville, where she spent many days taking laps in the pool, and was inducted into the Allen-Rogowicz All Sports Hall of Fame for her swimming ability which she enjoyed doing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Rees, on August 12, 2002; a son David Rees on October 14, 2010; 2 brothers, Joseph and Paul O’Connor. Surviving are 2, daughters, Carol Mangan, Carlisle; Paula Dodds, Orwigsburg; 3 sons, Edward Rees, Wrightsville; Richard Rees, Orwigsburg; and William Rees, York: a sister, Jean Yeasted, Pottsville: 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with her nephew Monsignor John MacFarlane as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass.
