Loretta L. ( McDonald ) Silva, 57, Girardville, passed away peacefully Friday evening at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family at her side.
Born in the former Ashland Hospital she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen ( Brennan ) McDonald. She was a 1977 graduate of North Schuylkill High School, Fountain Springs.
Loretta is survived by her sister Annabelle wife of Terry Price, Gordon, her three brothers; Patrick and his wife Mary McDonald, Shenandoah, Michael and his wife Theresa McDonald, Ashland and James and his wife Cheryl McDonald, Harrisburg, also by her fiancé Kerry Yesalavage, Girardville and by several nieces and nephews .
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville, with Rev. Edmund Brennan officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Loretta's name, to the American Cancer Society, 101 W. Frack Street, Frackville, PA 17931
