Schuylkill County Obituaries for 12/13/15
Donald J. Bonomo, 77, Girardville, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon at
Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St., Pottsville, after a lengthy illness.
Born in the former Ashland Hospital he was a son of the late Anthony G. and Agnes ( Lyden ) Bonomo. He had been employed as a bus chauffer for several area tour companies.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Don was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Girardville American Legion Post, the American Hose Co. , Ashland, and was a former Chief of Police in Girardville.
The last member of his immediate family he is survived by his wife Judith Ann ( Greco ) Bonomo and by four children and a step-son.
Private funeral services and interment, with military honors, will be held at the convenience of the family.

Angela F. Klinger, 34, of Girardville, passed away Wednesday evening December 9, 2015 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born at the former Ashland State General Hospital, Fountain Springs, November 9, 1981, she is the daughter of Earl and Joanne Conti Dietz, Ashland. She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, class of 2000, and was of the protestant faith.
Preceding her in death were her children, Audrey and Victor, passing January 2008, and her husband Michael, passing in August 2008.
Survivors in addition to her parents: Son: Gunnar Klinger, Ashland Sister: Nichole Dietz, Ashland Brother: Jeffrey Dietz, Ashland Maternal Grandmother: Ruth Albright Conti, Girardville
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Monday evening, 7 PM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Dana Heckman Beil, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland.
