Richard A Gambler Sfc/ Retired United States Army, 73 years of age of Chain Circle Drive New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday morning December 9, 2015, at the home of his daughter Robin, surrounded by his family.

Widower of Louis C. (Oswald) Gambler who passed away on February 1, 2015.

A graduate of William Allen High School, Richard earned Associate Degrees in Business Administration and Wildlife Administration.

A career Army Veteran, Richard retired as a Sgt. First Class from the 100 First Airbourne Division, "Screaming Eagles". Richard last served as an Army Recruiter.

A member of St. Peter's Church of Tamaqua, Richard enjoyed playing cards, and reading history on the Mafia. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Born Sunday, August 2, 1942. in Bethlehem, the son of the late Roy A. Franklin, and Winifred V. (Kocher) Gambler.

Surviving are daughters;

Kim L. wife of Andrew Whah of New Port Richey, Florida,
Audrey J. wife of George Wolfe of Tamaqua,
Deborah C. wife of Timothy Tentinger of Lancaster,
Robin A. wife of Charles Hollenbach with whom he resided;

Grandchildren, Cody, Chelsea, Richard, Tylor, Samantha, Blake, Chad, Alissa, and Jessica;
Great grandchildren, Laila, and Zofia.

Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Betty Nichol, Mrs. Jean Armbuster, Mrs. Ruth Schaffer, and Mrs. Dorothy Freer; brother, Roy A. F. Gambler, Jr..

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. 570-386-5884.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday December 14, 2015 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. Peter's Church 184 St. Peter's Church Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. Rev. Cheryl L. Moore to officiate.

Friends shall be received in church from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.

Interment with Military Honors, will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania t 1: 30 P.M.

Patricia A. Holter, 70, Arlington Street, Tamaqua and formerly of Lake Hauto and New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at home with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Dr. George J. Holter. Patricia worked with her beloved husband, George, at the family dental practice in Tamaqua. In January of 1987, she lost her husband in a car accident due to weather conditions. From that day on she devoted herself to taking care of her two daughters. In May of 1987, Dr. Stephen Puddu took over her husband's dental practice. Patricia continued to work at the dental practice for the past 28 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (nee Murphy) Sheehan and a 1963 graduate of Pascack Valley Regional High School, NJ. Patricia never started her day without a cup of coffee.

 She loved the community in which she lived as well as the people she communicated with daily. Patricia loved spending time with her daughters as well as her son-in-law. When she was not working, she was with her family. Patricia loved spending time with her furry children, Sprinkles and Pumpkin. She also loved her grand furry children, Pisces, Yankee, Oreo and Sneakers. Patricia was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan. She loved going to fairs, craft events and shopping with her family. She will be greatly missed by her children and the people whose lives she touched every day. Patricia was a member of the Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua having previously been a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua. Surviving her are daughters, Kathleen P. Holter of Tamaqua and Janene M. Holter-Solarczyk and her husband, Joseph G. of Tamaqua.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at11:00 AM, Saturday, December 12 in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 307 Pine Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown will follow the mass. Call 6-8 PM on Friday and 9-10:30 AM on Saturday at the Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Charles "Chuck" Kiehl, 67, of Catherine Street, Ashland passed away Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 at his home. 

Born in Ashland January 27,1948 the son of the late Charles and Rita (Walsch) Kiehl
He graduated from Immaculate Heart High School class of 1966 ; was a member of
St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland; worked for PP&L for 44 years until retirement and was a 45 year member of the Washington Fire Co., Ashland.

Surviving are his wife Anne (Dziczek) Kiehl. A daughter and son: Amy wife of Carl Denchy, Orwigsburg,PA and Michael husband of Tiffany Kiehl, Ashland. His mother in law Helen Dziczek of Ashland survives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland, PA Saturday, December 12th, at 10:30 AM with Rev. John W. Bambrick officiating.
Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ft. Springs,PA. Visitation Saturday 9:00-10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 1100 Walnut St., Ashland,PA. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
