Ann L. Heisler, 93, of West Lehigh Street, Coaldale, PA died on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Bethlehem, PA. She was the wife of the late Thomas Heisler who died in 1985. Born in Coaldale on September 27, 1922, Ann was a daughter of the late Michael and Eva (nee Crivida) Wescott. A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, she was the manager of the former Allen Shoe Store, Tamaqua, PA. Ann was a member of the Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua. Until it closed, she had been a member of St. John Lithuanian Church, Coaldale where she sang in the choir. Ann was also a member of the Lansford and Tamaqua Senior Citizens and a member of the former Coaldale Hospital Auxiliary. The last member of her immediate family, she is survived by son, Robert Heisler and his wife, Susan L. of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Jared M. Heisler of Wilmington, DE, Joanna Heisler of Raleigh, NC, Jason T. Heisler and his wife, Alana of Charleston, SC and Jennifer Heisler Jackson of Wilmington, DE and great grandchild, Shane Thomas Jackson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 11, 2015 in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 306 Pine Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Owl Creek will follow the Mass. Call from 10-11 AM on Friday, December 11 in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to St. Luke's Hospice House, Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. The Gulla and Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Homes are handling the arrangements.
