Heather Lee Groody, 20, entered into rest on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Born in Nanchang, China, Heather was the loving daughter of Tom and Lane Groody of Lititz.Heather always wore a big smile, enjoyed telling corny jokes, and being silly with her many friends. Heather loved reading, playing cards, movies, and board games. She loved Long Beach Island, giraffes, chocolate and Star Wars. She will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, compassion to others, and her constant need for a Sheetz slushy.

Heather was a 2014 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. While attending Lancaster Catholic, Heather played basketball and was a student ambassador and Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the Young Apostles, Aevidum and the National Honor Society. Heather played the clarinet and was a member of the orchestra, concert band and the chorus.

A student at Elizabethtown College, Heather played the clarinet in the Symphony band and was an active member of the Neuman Club.A parishioner of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz, Heather was a former member of the youth group. She enjoyed participating in Catholic Youth Ministries and attended Steubenville Conferences.

She is survived by her younger sister, Lauren, and her maternal grandmother, Nancy Travis of Gordon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday,Dec.5,2015 at 11:00 A.M. from St. James Church,505 woodcrest Ave., Lititz,PA. A time for visitation will be held Saturday 9:30 - 11:00 AM from St. James Church, Lititz,PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heather's memory to: Lititz Public Library 651 Kissel Hill Rd Lititz, PA 17543 or Aevidum c/o Lancaster Catholic High School 650 Juliette Ave Lancaster, PA 17601. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA is in charge of arrangements.

Clarence Henry Opolsky, III, 55, of Lafayette Street, Tamaqua, PA died on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his residence. Born in Coaldale, PA on September 24, 1960, he was a son of Clarence H., II and Eleanor Mary (nee DeStephanis) Opolsky of Barnesville, PA. A 1978 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Mahanoy City, PA, Clarence also attended McCann's School of Business. He worked as a mechanic for the former Sealy Posturepedic, Delano, PA and most recently was the owner of Amazon Discovery, an herbal supplement company. Although Clarence grew up in Barnesville, he spent his adult life in Tamaqua where he was an avid football fan and supporter of the Tamaqua Blue Raiders. Clarence served in the Naval Reserves, was a member of the NRA, and was of the Catholic faith. He loved to play golf and was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Surviving him in addition to his parents are children, Clarence Opolsky, IV and his wife Lissa of Tamaqua, Cassandra Opolsky of Yuma, AZ and Timothy Opolsky of Nesquehoning, PA; brother, Robert Opolsky and his wife Rebecca of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Patricia Cavenas and her husband, Christopher of Conyngham Valley, PA and several nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 5 at the Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Janet Kline officiating. Call 9-11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
