Richard John Fessler, 43, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015.
Born in Williamsport on December 24, 1971 he was the son of Marian Schweikert Dalton and the late Fred F. Fessler.
Richard loved the outdoors and appreciated the beauty of nature. He also loved animals and had many faithful furry friends throughout his life.
He was a graduate of West Hazleton High School and was previously employed by Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two children, Richard Fessler and Heather Fessler, both of Hazleton; sisters, Marian Pittman, Blandon; Brandi Dalton, Schuylkill Haven; and Kelly Goodman, St. Clair; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that donations be made to the Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville PA 17901.
