Steven M. Boehmer, 53, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James F. and Florence (Mills) Boehmer. He worked in the maintenance department for the Simmons Bedding Co., Hazleton.
Steven was preceded in death by two sisters: Dianne Brownlee and Lynne Boehmer.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Lori Purcell Boehmer; one son, Steven Boehmer Jr. and one daughter Felicia Boehmer, all of Shenandoah. Also survived by three brothers: James and his wife Carol Boehmer, Tennessee, Robert and his wife Eileen Boehmer, Philadelphia, Richard and his wife Donna Boehmer of Mount Carmel; two grandchildren: Aaliyah and Noah; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev Jonathan Hall. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
