Port Carbon Police Chief Joe Ferraro is battling cancer and his friends have scheduled a benefit for him next month.
The event will start on Friday December 8th with a Shop and Drop from 5-9pm.
On Saturday, the day starts at 10am with a bake sale and "Dutchie Auction" until 4pm.
Numbers will be pulled at 4:00pm and live entertainment will begin at approximately 5pm and run through the night.
So far, the bands announced to perform are
- Boys Upstairs 5pm
- Woodchips 6pm
- Shaddler 7pm
- Endless Plague 8pm
- Ricky and Ricardo's 9pm
- Rude Groove 10pm
- Hooligan 11pm
- And the return of Cool Daddy Groove after over a ten year hiatus featuring Donny Frantz, John DeLowery, Rob Urenko and Chris Kurtz they start at midnight
