Man Charged After Motor Vehicle Accident
West Mahanoy Township Police have filed charges as a result of a motor vehicle accident on September 1st, 2017 in the Altamont section of the Township.
While participating in a stationary sobriety checkpoint, a West Mahanoy Township Officer observed a vehicle accident occur.
One of the vehicles involved in this accident was observed fleeing the scene.
This vehicle was stopped a short time later, with the assistance of the Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office and the Mahanoy Township Police Department.
As a result of this incident, Timothy Grady of Girardville, will have to answer to a charge of Accidents Involving Damage To Attended Property and several summary charges before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville.
