Jill A. Amend, 60, of Gordon,PA passed away Sunday, October 25th, 2015 at her residence in Gordon. Born in Ft. Springs,PA April 27,1955 the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Troutman) Amend. She graduated from North Schuylkill High School class of 1973 and South VoTech in nursing. She last worked at the Ashland Hospital and for Home Health Agencies. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a brother Robert Amend who died in 1972. Surviving are her brother John Amend of Ashland,PA.. Her companion of 25 years Duane Smith , Gordon.
Nephew: John L. Amend and niece Bobbie Lyden. Two great nieces: Kennedy & Stella. Her two dogs Duke and Rambo. A memorial service will be held from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home,Ashland Wednesday,Nov.4,2015 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dr. Kim Lengert officiating. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs,PA.
