Prior to leaving for the army, a beautiful woman from Port Carbon asked him to sign her dance card. One dance soon lead to an infallible love. Joan Marie Biltheiser and Joe were married on November 24, 1953. In addition to his loving wife of 51 years, Joan, Joe was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Pete,Andy and Steve.
