Father Pleads Guilty in Connection with Son's Starvation Death

A Schuylkill County Native pleaded guilty Monday morning to charges of Third-degree murder, Endangering the welfare of a child, and Concealing a death in connection with the death of his son by starvation in Harrisburg.


In August 2014, Jarrod Tutko, Harrisburg, was accused of hiding his 9 year old son's corpse for four days before telling anyone, including his wife.

Tutko is originally from the Shenandoah/Mahanoy City Area.
