Mary H. Barron-Munichiello, 93 years of age, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania formerly of Tamaqua, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Widow of Robert W. Barron who passed away on August 10, 1956, and George V. Munichiello who passed away on September 18, 2010.

A member of St. Jon U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Mary had worked at the former Napoli Restaurant in Tamaqua, and in the Textile Industry.

Born Tuesday, May 30, 1922 in Tamaqua, the daughter of the late William, and Helen (Kropp) Nichols.

Surviving are;

Son, Robert Barron and his wife Judy of Tamaqua;

Daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sullivan wife of James with whom she resided of Coaldale, PA;

Step daughters, Georgeann Antle wife of Robert of Boston, MA., Christine Antle wife of Conray of Weare, NH, and Rosemary Hill wife of Tom of New Philadelphia;

8 grand children; 16 great grand children, four great great grandchildren. many step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive Mary

Preceded in death by; son, Carl Barron and his wife Donna; grand daughter, Jennifer Barron; step daughters, Mrs. Sandy Storey; Mrs. Angel Miller sister Mrs. Esther Mitchell; brothers, Charles, and John Nichols. Private Interment Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Mae Arleah Moyer, 83, formerly of Rebuck and a resident of Green Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, the former Friendly Nursing Home, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Nursing Center.

Mae was born in Greenbrier, on April 7, 1932, a daughter of the late Margaret Irene (Hook) Snyder and Guy Jefferson Snyder, Sr.

She had worked at Mandata Poultry and the Friendly Nursing Home in the cafeteria and also worked at the former Snyder's Restaurant in Pitman

She was a member of Himmel's Church of Dornsife and was active with the Women's Group and Choir. Mae also had belonged to the Greenbrier Grange.

She was the widow of John D. Moyer who passed away March 5, 1982.

Mae is survived by three sons Daniel, husband of Joyce Moyer, of San Angelo, TX; Carl, husband of Jane Moyer, of Slatington, PA; and John Moyer, of Rebuck, PA; one Daughter Ruth Ann , wife of Ronald Steinmann, of Burton, TX; three sisters, Lena Klinger, Ruth Macoviak, Evelyn Rothermel; two brother Marvin Snyder and Paul Snyder; 4 grandchildren, Pam, Tammy, Steven and Benjamin; 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, June Snyder and a brother, Guy J. Snyder, Jr.

Viewing will be held on Thursday October 29, 2015 from 7-9 PM at Himmel's Church 107 Covered Bridge Rd, Dornsife, and Friday from 10-11 AM at the church with the funeral service following at 11 AM with Pastor Jane Compton officiating. Interment will follow at Himmel's Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions maybe made to the church.

Gerald " Jerry" Canfield, 67, Of Shenandoah Heights passed away peacefully Monday morning at his residence with his family at his side.

Born in Pottsville he was a son of the late Patrick and Catherine ( Dillon ) Canfield. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He had been employed, for several years, by Wenco Windows and was the caretaker for Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights, until his retirement.

He was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years the former Sharon McCole, his three daughters; Wendy wife of Anthony Kowalick, Amanda wife of Scott Karenda and April Canfield and her fiancé Mike Williams, his grandchildren; Bella Karenda, Kyden and Kolby Kowalick, his sisters ; Kathleen Kelly and Pat Gries, also by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Scripture service will be held at 1 p.m with Rev. Ron Minner, officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
