Dorothy A (Toth) Ross, age 78, of Mary D, PA, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George T. Ross.

Dorothy had worked as a sewer in the textile industry.

She was a 1955 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School where she was a majorette. Dorothy was a member of the Mary-D Fire Company Auxiliary having served as President, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

Born in Mary-D on October 1, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Toth and the late Anna (Cascavage) Toth.

She is also survived by her

Daughters, LouAnn Breiner wife of Perry of Tamaqua; Susan Martin wife of John of Tamaqua; Rebecca A Quinn wife of Wilbur of Mary-D; June A. Vaccaro of Mary-D; Georgiana M Ross of Mary-D;

Brother, Robert Toth of Lansford;

Six Grandchildren

Nine Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Toth.

Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Angelo P. Mack, age 85, of Pottsville, PA passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at his home.

Born in Cumbola, PA on April 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Patrick and Anna (Krouse) Mack.

Angelo was a graduate of Blythe Township High School, Class of 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy as a SN in the Korean Conflict on the USS New Jersey BB62.

Angelo worked for Bazley’s Construction Company in Port Carbon for over 20 years and then for other construction companys until retiring. He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia, a member of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church in Cumbola, where he was in the Holy Name Society, a member of the Cumbola American Legion, a life member of the AMVETS in Pottsville, and a 60 year member of the Cumbola Hose Company. He was active in starting and forming the baseball league in Middleport.

Angelo was a devoted family man, who loved being involved and around all the kids, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid football fan of the Colts and the Florida Gators.

He was the last member of his immediate family, being preceded in death by his parents, a sister Dorothy Stesko and 4 brothers: Thomas, Joseph, Lawrence, and Edmond Mack.

Angelo in survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Arlene H. (Berlew) Mack, a daughter Bonnie L. Rosenberger and her husband Charlie C., and 2 granchildren: C. J. and Nicole Rosenberger, all of Pottsville; and serveral nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia at 11AM on Saturday, October 24th, with Rev. Ronald Minner officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday evening from 7-9PM and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery in Port Carbon.
