The fire was located at 615 West Arch Street, Pottsville and was reported that a woman and four children lived in the home.
Witnesses reported that the woman and a child escaped the fire by getting out through an upstairs window and going through a neighbors home to get to safety.
No injuries were reported. A dog was said to have died in the fire.
Responding were the Pottsville Fire , Schuylkill Haven RIT and the Schuylkill EMS. The American Red Cross was on scene to help the victims.
