Violet Jane (Osenbach) Wood, beloved mother, and grandmother, 82 years of age of Blue Mountain Road, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. after a brief illness.
Widow of Robert W. Wood who passed away on February 7, 2014.
Survived by;
Daughter, Karen L. Wood of Andreas;
Sons, Robin R. Wood and his wife Tracy of Fleetwood, Dennis K. Wood of New Ringgold, Thomas S. Wood and his wife Deborah of Tamaqua,
Brother, Harold Osenbach of New Ringgold;
Sister, Mrs. Jean Tiley of Easton;
5 grand children, Joshua, Julie, Kristen, Gregory, and Jennifer; 3 great grand children. Lorali, Faith, and Lillian.
A Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Violet and her late husband Bob founded and co-owned Tamaqua Truck & Trailer of Tamaqua in 1969, which has successfully transitioned to her children. Violet, is a member of Zion's Stone Church of West Penn Township where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Violet was also a member of the Lehighton Bi-centennial Chorus.
Born in West Penn Township the daughter of the late Charles W. and Maude Ida (Kocher) Osenbach. Violet was also preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Dorothy McHugh, Mrs. Betty Snyder; brother, Mr. Herman C. Osenbach, and Berton Osenbach.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Monday September 28, 2015 from the funeral home.
A Gathering of Friends will occur on Sunday evening September 27, 2015 at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment will be in Zion's Stone Church Cemetery of West Penn Township.

Vincent Gregonis, 89, of McKnight St. Gordon,PA. passed away Monday, September 21st, 2015 at his residence in Gordon. Born in Minersville,PA Nov. 29,1925 the son of the late Elmer and Margaret (Jamitis) Gregonis. He attended Minersville Schools and was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War I I and the Korean War. He worked for many years at Standard Press Steel and later as a carpenter in the Gordon area. One sister two brothers preceded him in death: Alma, Robert and Charles. A sister Deanna wife of Paul Sharp, Albrightsville,PA survive. Nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family . Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA. Kull-Heizneorth Funeral Home, Ashland
