Just after 8:00pm, emergency crews were called Suffolk Road between Mahanoy City and Gilberton, in the area of Wiggins for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a utility pole.
As of 8;45pm, the road is currently closed while crews clean up the scene.
No major injuries were reported.
