Donald M. Klinger, Jr., 53, of Ashland, passed away at home Thursday afternoon September 17, 2015, surrounded by his family. Born July 7, 1962 at the former Ashland State Hospital, Fountain Springs, he was the son of the late Donald M. and Mary Yablonsky Klinger. Donnie attended North Schuylkill schools, and graduated from the carpentry class at Red Rock Job Corps, Benton. He was a former member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Ashland. He was most known for his jobs around town, willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Donnie enjoyed fishing, gardening, and construction projects around the house. Preceding him in death was his father Donald M. Klinger Sr., on February 27, 2014.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at 7 P.M. in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre Street Ashland, with Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, officiating. A calling hour will be held from 6 P.M. until time of service.
