On Saturday, May 7th, the North Schuylkill School District will be holding a pre-game ceremony to honor long-time baseball coach Robert Wetzel.
Wetzel was Head Baseball coach for over 30 years at North Schuylkill, where he coached the Spartans to a pair of league titles. Wetzel was elected into the Anthracite Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2013.
The ceremony will take place at approximately 3:45 pm, prior to the start of the Spartans’ home game versus Hamburg Area.
